Statement of Faith

I believe that the Bible is the true Word of God which is the divinely-inspired
writings that have been preserved for each generation, inspired by the Holy
Spirit, and the only authoritative and infallible rule of the Christian faith and
practice. (“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching,
for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man
of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV).

I believe in the Triune nature of God, that He is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in
one. (“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to
observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always,
to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 ESV).

I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life,
in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His
bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His
personal return in power and glory.

I believe salvation is by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ who died for
our sins and rose again, providing eternal redemption to those who believe. It is
not by our works or works of the law. (“For by grace you have been saved
through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a
result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 ESV).

I believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who lives within and guides
Christians so they are enabled to live godly lives.
